Inside Hana's Suitcase

Synopsis
The mystery began when educator Fumiko Ishioka at the Tokyo Holocaust Museum received
a battered suitcase from the Auschwitz Museum with Hana Brady’s name, birthday
and "waisenkind"
(orphan) painted on it. The ensuing quest by the determined Fumiko and her students
to learn the details of Hana’s short life led to the discovery that her older
brother George had survived Thereisenstadt and was living in Toronto. Hana's story is
brought to life through the voices of schoolchildren in Japan, Canada and the Czech
Republic, along with George’s memories, skillfully interwoven with superbly filmed
dramatic reenactments and a moving musical score.
