Children of the Sun

Synopsis
Israeli filmmaker Ran Tal grew up on a kibbutz in an atmosphere of Socialist and Utopian idealism, when kibbutznikim were living their dream. Using classic period footage, this film explores what life was like from the perspective of children. Largely separated from their parents, these children were reared from their earliest years in communal existence, isolated from the outside world, but joined together in an idealistic cause of a bygone era.
