Mahmud Nasir is a moderately secular Muslim, but otherwise thoroughly a Londoner. When his mother dies, he discovers accidentally that not only was he adopted as a baby, but both his birth parents were Jewish, sending him tumbling into a hilarious identity crisis. While keeping this fact a secret from his family, he turns to Lenny, a surly American Jewish cab driver, for a crash course on what it means to be Jewish.
