A successful young woman, happily married to a good man whom she loves, is drawn to an older man who was once her father's friend. For unknown reasons, and risking the destruction of her marriage and career, she embarks upon a path of shocking and progressively more advanced self-degradation, which appears to be based on nothing more than physical lust.
