Putzel
Synopsis

The horizons of Putzel, a 30-something Jewish man who works in his uncleís lox store, are defined by a narrow slice of the Upper West Side of Manhattan, from which he never strays. His goal in life is to inherit the store, founded by his grandfather, whenever his uncle retires and moves to Florida. The realization of this goal is jeopardized when his uncle becomes involved with an unstable woman. While it is "touch and go" as to whether his plan will work, we never lose faith in the determined Putzel.
