Synopsis

Jewish life in North Africa was vibrant and this very special feature film tells a poignant and romantic story. A young Jewish man, reared in France, returns to Tunisia to retrace the rhythms of his youth.  He learns how his parents’ deep and abiding love sustained them through the tribulations of Vichy including deportation to a concentration camp. Wonderful cinematography and a gripping plot.
