Brianna PerezBrianna Perez, violinist, has been playing the violin since the age of 6, when she started at the Bronx Global Learning Institute for Girls. Ms. Perez is featured in the 2017 Academy nominated short documentary film, Joe's Violin. Brianna is entering her sophomore year at Talent Unlimited High School, where she is furthering her violin studies.

Synopsis

In the Academy Award-nominated short documentary Joe's Violin, a donated violin forges an improbable friendship between 91-year-old Holocaust survivor Joe Feingold and 12-year-old Bronx school girl Brianna Perez, showing how the power of music can bring light in the darkest of times and how a small act can have a great impact.
